Purpose and legal basis of processing
The data are processed exclusively for the following purposes:
1. Distribution of software, services, and data: pre-contractual, contractual, and tax activities necessary to establish commercial relationships, whether for consideration or not, between the Controller and the Data Subject.
2. Support for the use of software, services, and data: support activities by the Controller for the Data Subject regarding the use, operation, and improvement of software, services, and data.
3. Direct marketing on software, services, and data: activities of sending the Data Subject (by e-mail, mail, sms, telephone contacts, newsletter) commercial communications and/or advertising material about software, services, and data produced by the Controller.
For the pursuit of purposes 1) and 2), the processing of the Data Subject’s personal data is necessary for:
• the execution of a contract to which the Data Subject is a party or the execution of pre-contractual measures;
• fulfilling legal obligations to which the Data Controller and the Data Subject are subject.
For the processing of the Data Subject’s data concerning purpose 3), consent is required.
Categories of personal data
The categories of the Data Subject’s data are:
• data knowingly and actively provided by the Data Subject: personal data and other similar contact data, data necessary to process payments, data for a support intervention;
• data provided by the Data Subject during the use of software, services, and data.

Categories of recipients of personal data
For the pursuit of the processing purposes, the recipients of the Data Subject’s data, in addition to the Controller and its Appointees, also include companies providing payment, financial, tax, marketing, printing, enveloping, and shipping services.
Transfer of personal data
The Controller, under no circumstances, makes or will make transfers of the data subjects’ data to any third country or international organization not belonging to the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Retention period of personal data
The data processed are kept by the Controller for the period deemed strictly necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing. Furthermore, data processed for purposes 1) and 2) may be kept for a longer period in order to manage any disputes. Data processed for purpose 3) will be kept by the Controller from the moment the data subject has given consent until such consent is revoked.
Rights of the data subject
The Data Subject is granted the following rights:
• right of access, i.e., the right to obtain from the Controller confirmation as to whether or not data processing is in progress and, if so, to obtain access to it;
• right to rectification and erasure, i.e., the right to obtain the rectification of inaccurate data and/or the integration of incomplete data or the erasure of data for legitimate reasons;
• right to restriction of processing, i.e., the right to request the suspension of processing if there are legitimate reasons;
• right to data portability, i.e., the right to receive data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, as well as the right to transmit the data to another data controller;
• right to object, i.e., the right to object to the processing of data if there are legitimate reasons, including processing for marketing and profiling purposes, if provided;
• right to contact the competent data protection authority in case of unlawful data processing.
Obligation to provide personal data
For the pursuit of purposes 1) and 2), the provision of personal data is a legal, contractual obligation and a necessary requirement for the conclusion of a contract; failure to provide such data will make it impossible to carry out the activities envisaged for the aforementioned purposes.
INFORMATION ON THE USE OF COOKIES
Cookies are small text strings that the site visited by the data subject sends to their terminal (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be retransmitted to the same site on the next visit by the same Data Subject. While browsing a site, the Data Subject may also receive cookies on their terminal that are sent from sites or web servers other than the one being visited (so-called “third parties”), on which some elements (such as, for example, images, maps, sounds, specific links to pages of other domains) present on the site being visited may reside.
